Zander Scott Roseborough Ms. Lehmann English 1-3 14 March 2019
As You Like It Response On March 7, 2019, we watched a fantastic, funny, exciting play called As You Like It. A funny group put it on by the name of Shakespearience. I have never seen anything by Shakespeare, and so this play was a great play to see first to make me like him. The group that put on the play, in my opinion, was great. I had a great time. They made it much easier to understand, and they made it a lot funnier: with the way that group preformed the play. My favorite part of the acting was an actor he was funny as every person he played. He was the actor that played Touchstone. He was really funny the whole time. My other favorite part was the costumes. I liked them because I feel like the costume made the whole play a little funnier. I don’t really know what it was like back in the 80’s but it seems pretty funny, and when you put those into a comedy play, it just made it great. Now the theme, was the 80’s, and it was great. I loved all the dorky costumes. After watching that play, I wish I were born in that time. It was a really funny play in the first place, then they add those funny costumes, it made it that much better. Plus, I think that the way they did it with the theme and everything made it easier to understand so I think the theme selection was great. They did a really good job. In conclusion, I loved the play. It was hilarious; the play and the actors were just great. They made it really funny and easy to keep up with. I’m not a fan of plays, but they did a great job making it a fun experience. The acting was awesome, the costumes were great, and the theme was funny, so I give this play a 10 out of 10 for sure.
